I suggest you to re-login into your AVG Dashboard with your AVG My Account Credentials.
Please follows the steps below to re-login:
1. Please click on your Email Address and then select Leave this Network
2. Click Connect at the top-right of the screen, then click Log into the account again.
3. Type your email address and the password, then click Log In.

Hoping someone out there can help me. I've just renewed my subscription for AVG unlimited. I've followed all the instructions I can see regarding activation but I still get the box saying 'Your subscription expires in 1 day!'
Any idea why I still get the expiry message?
