i am still unable to get an answer.

I just reactivated my AVG account, but when I go back to options and hit "Reactivate" it still shows the old license number.  Am I reactivated?  If not, how do I do that?

The "year" indicated on your box is only relevant to the most current edition as published by the box.  You are purchasing subscriptions from AVG, not a specific product.  All software upgrades are included with AVG over the lifetime of your subscription, and it should be automatically prompting you anytime there is a new release.  You can always find the most up to date software by going in to your AVG My account screen and logging in.  It appears they are ditching Antivirus and internet security for AVG Protection, and Performance is the PC Tuneup and phone cleaner side.  Ultimate gets it all.

I susgest running the latest version over the old version to maker sure its up to date. http://www.avg.com/us-en/2015-upgrade

check bottom right.triangle near speaker.shortcut didn't come up on my desktop.

today i entered  the new license number n hit reactivate. do i need to do anything else to have protection for 2015. last year when i did  it or  you did it for me, avg 2014 appeared in icon screen. avg 2015 does not appear.
