I understand the inconvenience.
You have AVG Internet Security (5 computers) valid till 5th May 2019.
Open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on "My AVG" and select "My Subscriptions".
If you have the options as "Log out" and "Remove license", click on both.
Next, click on "Enter license" option and enter your renewed license number.
You should get the renewed subscription activated.
