Link Scanner Database Out of Date

We regret for the inconvenience caused. Since you have mentioned that your Link Scanner is inactive. No need to worry, We are here to help you. To get the issue fixed, we would request you to repair the AVG program to check whether it resolves the issue.  If the issue persist, we would request you to remove previously installed program traces of (AVG 2015 or AVG 2014)from your system using AVG Remover tool and then try to reinstall AVG Internet Security.
Note: If you have installed any other conflicting programs like AVAST, NORTON, McAfee or KASPERSKY try to uninstall it.
Once you have uninstalled from your system, please follow the steps which mentioned below.

Hi,

Just installed the AVG Ultimate however the is an error msg Web"Link Scanner Database" is outdated. I had tried to click on "fix it" but nothing happen… Appreciate if anyone can help? Thanks

  1. To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link:  http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reinstall-AVG
    2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
    3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
    4)Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
    Note : Please use the AVG Remover tool mentioned on the article to uninstall the AVG program more effectively.
