Links not opening from Mail in AVG secure browser

So I installed AVG secure browser and set it as my default browser and now links in emails in the windows Mail app won't open. If I change the default browser to anything else (edge, IE, Chrome) the links work fine so the problem seems to be with the AVG secure browser. The simple answer would be to give up on it and switch to one of the other browsers but I'd rather use AVG if there is a way to fix this please

Reinstalling the browser will reset the software configuration and it will delete the saved data.

Hi

Just tried this and it hasn't worked. Not only that it meant I lost all my saved passwords payment methods and addresses because it didn't occur to me that I would need to export these and save them somewhere before I uninstalled the browser
