Hello,
I have a message that the Linkscanner database of AVG Internet security is outmoded, even though I have tried to update many times. I have treid the fix shown in this article: AVG Community and have tried using the repair / re-installation tool from my Windows 7 PC control panel. The current Linkscanner database is version 3005, and my Internet security version is 16.131.7924. Windows defender is turned off, so there is no software conflict as far as I can tell. Please can you help?
Thanks very much to Satham and Prem for your help with sorting this problem out. I'd never have found the problematic C++ files by myself. Everything is fine now.
