LinkScanner not updating

We regret for the inconvenience caused. Do you mean AVG reports updates installed successfully though Link scanner says it is outdated? Please try to do offline update as described in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-update-AVG .
If the issue persist, please try to run repair installation of your AVG Protection.
To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:

Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG Protection in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.

The LinkScanner database is showing as outdated, although I have updated everything.  Using AVG Ultimate on Windows 10 HP 64bit laptop.  ALso when I click Fix Now button to automate fix, it does not remedy the issue.

Seeing the same thing here.  Complete reinstall remedies nothing.
One response I saw from AVG support to another person commenting on this same issue
was so inane, I almost uninstalled the product.

AVG, fix this issue otherwise, what's the point?

Yeah Anthony I had the same issue. What I did was actually go to control panel and do the change option for AVG and clicked repair. It solved the issue however i think what happened was their latest update may have caused a slight issue with the linkscanner
