I have the same problem. It seems that locate only works when the device is connected to wifi. I can track it between wifi spots only but nothing in between. It has been like this since I changed to the new website. Please advise how to get it to work via GPS and cell tower.
After moving to the most recent version of avg anti virus in three phones, I can no longer locate the phones using my.avg.com. All three phones appear on the list of phones at that site, but when I request a location for any phone, I get a message saying we cannot connect to your phone. Locate worked fine on the older version of avg with avgmobilation.
Thanks, but after trying this, I'm still getting the same message saying that we cannot connect.
Any further progress in getting the app to function correctly since the migration?

Yes, we have received many customers reporting this issue about our new websites my.avg.com. I have already escalated this issue to our concern team. They are working on a fix, the issue will get fixed soon.

Select the option as "YES" and the operating system as "ANDROID"
Fill in the details and click on the option "answer via email"
Once your request is submitted you will be getting the prompt answer via email from our mobile team.

I understand the inconvenience caused, let's work together to fix this issue. In this case, I request you to have re-register the device to the AVG Anti-theft because the AVG URL has been changed to my.avg.com. Please follow the instruction to re-register your device: 1. Please open the AVG Anti Virus App on your mobile and then click on the Menu Drawer (Three - on the top Left corner)
2. Open Anti Theft (Enter code if prompted)
3. Once it is open, check if it is already turned ON, if yes, please turn it OFF and again Turn it ON.
After that, please check once again if you're able to locate your device by Logging In at my.avg.com.

Hi Alok. Thanks very much for your help. However, I've got all locating services turned on. And, as Sam Spade mentioned, this is really about the transition to the new version of AVG locate with my.avg.com. Locating worked perfectly for all three of our phone on the older version, using the avgmobiliation website.
