Locked out of avg 2015 protection program

I purchased a avg protection program locally on 3/25/15 and loaded it on the computer on 3/31/15. All seemed fine untill the old avg security expiration date came up on the old avg 2014 internet security program ,4-6-15, at which time the new  program locked up saying the registration had expired .When I try to get the new registration to unlock it all I can get is the old registration which it says is expired. Any suggestions. The instructions either dont seem to apply to avg protection program or go in circles.Both old and new programs were given the same address and password.
