We regret for the inconvenience caused. If you have installed AVG AntiVirus on your phone you might have enabled Anti-Theft service. If you change the SIM card the device will be locked automatically. To unlock the device, you need to use your Anti-Theft password.
If you have forgotten Anti-Theft password then please follow these steps on the article http://avgread.me/1WvQqze . Do not remove your device from the Remote Management at avgmobilation, Removing the device will keep it locked. Also device must be connected to a known network Use your AVG MyAccount or Google Account.

I have got a new phone which has a different size SIM to the last one I had. About 3 years ago I had a trial of the AVG antitheft app which I never bothered to take up and therefore didn't even register. Unfortuanately whilst transferring my datat from the micro SIM of my old phone to the new nano SIM of my Sony Xperia M4 Aqua the AVG anti theft has locked the screen.
I have tried evry thing AVG suggest eg I have treid to reset the passwrd several times and all I get is a timed out message on the passwrad reset apge. I have also gone onto the website direct and tried to reset however I am being told there is no registered device.
I can do nothing with my phone including switching it off. I need HELP please
