LOcky Virus further

Hi,
I have my computer infected with "Cryptolocker" since last night. Why AVG did not tell me?
I'm paying for what?
Do you have any solutions?
I did a scan and AVG did not detect the virus.
How can I remove it?

Hello John,
We can understand that you are referring to the "Cryptolocker" virus which will encrypt all the files on your PC and you need to 'pay' to decrypt. We are aware of this and right now we don't have a solution for this but our senior technicians are working 24/7 to find a solution. The only suggestion we give is to take regular backup of your files. AVG carefully monitors the quality of our products and the service we provide. Therefore all feedback from our customers is important to us. Submit your valuable feedback in http://www.avg.com/us-en/product-feedback .Thank you.

Hello Jorge,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We understand how something like this will try your patience.
The type of attack you have suffered is called a "Crypto locker". It is a malware, but not a virus. Generally it means that you have been tricked into running a program which then encrypted your files. The encrypted files cannot be decrypted again.
This kind of infection cannot be detected by any Anti-virus program available in the market including AVG. They are usually transmitted through email attachments.
The only possible solution for this issue is to reinstall the whole operating system to get rid of this harmful infection.
Right now we don't have a solution for this but our senior technicians are working 24/7 to find a solution.
Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
Thank you.

Hi,
Please se this:
“Avast! Antivirus detects all known variants of CryptoLocker thanks to our automated processing and CommunityIQ,” said Pavel Sramek, researcher and analyst for the avast! VirusLab. “There are less than a dozen; this doesn't seem to be a case of rapidly mutating malware.”
Can Avast protect me against CryptoLocker?
