I am using the "One time fix" via AVG PC TuneUp. It has completed all the prior fixes, but has been stuck on the fix for "Startup & Shutdown" for approximately 30 minutes now. Is this a normal situation or is there something going on where it is locked in the application? Any info that may be offered would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up clicking cancel: a round progress ring appeared, according to which the computer was 3% tuned up. When I turned on my computer today, the ring said 31% tuned up. So, AVG Internet Security > Fix performance > AVG PC TuneUp > Maintenance, which I clicked triggering an automatic scan which took less than a minute. It says there are no issues including Start and Shut Down. Presumably, all is well. Thank you for you assistance.

We regret for the inconvenience caused. Since you have mentioned that AVG 1 time fix freezes at " Startup and Shutdown" process, we would request you to restart your system and run the maintenance scan again, if the issue persist please try to follow the below simple steps.
*Open AVG PC Tune up.
Select Options in Maintenance component.
In Maintenance interface you will get couple options.
*Kindly uncheck all components except Start up and Shut Down.
*Try to run the maintenance scan again.

I have the same problem it just sits there hanging on the startup shutdown option, everything else has been repaired it's been around 2 hours now should I cancel this??
