My computer skills are that of 50yr old technical language caveman, that has not grown with computers like our now millennial generation, so forgive my questions and how i present them.
I purchased the yearly AVG protection ; Tune up, secure VPN and internet security 12 September 2019. Since then regular withdrawal's from my bank account and the protection has been great.
My son got into the computer and said its frozen , there is a bad virus in here we have to return the computer to September 2019 to reset it , you wont lose any of your information Dad, IU said "Great
Soooo, we went back to the …I did not have the protection anymore, it kept prompting me to purchase avg, i had already paid for it so wondered what's gone wrong. In my sons infinite wisdom , He said we will go back to the present, it should be ok because it will recognize that you have the subscriptions in your email with the purchase codes........so we did. AVG at 1st January 2021 is still prompting me to repurchase the protection???, Sooooo, my son deleted all AVG to redownload, he said we will re-boot it all dad so the computer recognizes fresh protection …..I said OK ( you love ya kids no matter what , right) when i go back to my original emails and try to download avg from there , THERE IS NO PROMPTING FOR MY CODES, so i just download odd the site, which of course doesn't recognize me as already PAID for the protection
After a few liquid refreshments and sadly the discontinued seeking of my sons professional advice, …I have Know protection and out of pocket full subscription.. Hands up those out there laughing right now??!! Haha, wish i was. Thanks in advance to anyone out there in the community that can help this poor old computer Caveman.
