how can I remove this file and folder? The system states I do not have enough rights, but I am admin of the MacBook Pro M1.

Hi there,

/Library/Application Support/ - there is no AVG Folder any more. I think the uninstall already covered that a few months ago.

The AVG leftover files are located here:
/Library/SystemExtensions/56758880-7982-41E4-A194-EE5FE0BC38A0/com.avg.Antivirus.SystemExtension.systemextension

Hello Ralf, 

Thank you for writing back to us. You can follow the steps below to remove the traces of AVG. 

1. Open Finder
2. In menubar select Go > Go to Folder…
3. Type /Library/Application Support/ and hit the enter key
4. Locate and delete AVG folder
5. Reboot computer and AVG should be removed.
