So there are a few posts on here regarding Macpaw's legit "Cleanmymac" product being flagged as a virus. The workaround for this issue seems to be to add CleanMyMac and its installer as an exception.
Problem I have is that my AV is Avast Business Antivirus - which is remotely managed by my company's IT department - they obviously maintain a centralised exceptions list and don't want to add a product which only I have installed to their global exceptions list.
What do you suggest?
