I'm sorry mailstore still mailfunctioning. The only way to start mailstore is by fully closing off AVG.
I have no idea how to solve the issue.

i mean downloading mails with mailstore with no protection seems a silly idea to me.
thats not the reason why i bought AVG.

I am getting the message "MailStore Home is already started, but does not react".  REmove AVG and it woks.  Has only been failing since a fairly recent AVG Free update.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hello John. Please add the application to AVG's exception list as suggested by Sujendran in his first post. Hope it will resolve the issue as it did for Goeff. Thank you.

I found it did (still does) work for me when I followed those instructions (essentially to make exceptions for Mailstore in the AVG propgram)… has been working now for almost 2 weeks.
