MAking sure subscription DOES NOT renew automatically and cancelling my subscription

I have just found that my subscription has renewed automatically.  I know I should have done something earlier to stop this happening
But I want to make sure that does not happen again and to cancel my subscription as I have not used AVG for 6 months.
How can I do thisd - I did try to find a link in an email | recieved bit could not find the link.

Hello Jan,

You have been charged for the automatic renewal of AVG TuneUp Unlimited.

I have cancelled the automatic renewal from our end and you will not be charged by AVG in the future.

Please let us know, how would you like to proceed with this charge?
