Malicious program

Thank you for your reply, but can you tell me how to get rid of "web internet security.com as it's got into my registry and on my startup, I tried disabling it from startup but then couldn't get into the inrternet at all. Also the box on the screenshot only allows you to allow once or always it doesn't say you can block It!

Shirley, Please provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the pop-up. For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hello Shirley,
Instead of reset, you may see "Clear". Please click on the same and see if that fix the issue.
Thank you

I have cleared the browser but it hasn't stopped it, and I'm now getting a message from AVG that the update manager is not active

Its exactly the same as the one I sent beforeUser-added image

Thank you for providing the screenshot.
We can see that Microsoft Edge is showing a prompt that " It is blocked a popup from http://webinternetsecurity.com" .
It is actually a general setting of Edge browser that detects the advertisement popup that appears on any of the websites that you visit and it will ask your permission to allow that particular popup.
You can use the option displayed on the box to allow or block the popup that try to appear.

Hello Shirley,
We are sorry to know that. We have emailed you the steps to collect the error log from your computer. Please run the same and this logs will be analysed by the senior team and will contact you soon by email.
Thank you
