I have installed an camera app called quick video recorder, and have been using for many months. But recently, AVG started flagging the app as having an malware code: FileRepMalware[misc] 

is this a false flagging? Or do I have to worry about my phone being hijacked with a ransomeware?

the one found on googleplay redirects to a different app called background video recorder
