Hello Tonya.
We'll be glad to help.
Are you using AVG AntiVirus free?
Could you describe what exactly did the best buy people said about the battery does not look normal?
Did you by any chance happen to try inserting a new battery and verified the issue?
Did you run a deep virus scan using AVG AntiVirus and find any threats?
I have a Dell inspiron 13 7000 series laptop, that will be fully charged plugged in and as soon as I unplug it jumps down to 13% and says I must replace the battery. I took my laptop to Best buy geek squade to have them replace the battery and when they saw the replacement battery sign they said it did not look normal and could be some sort of virus or trojan effecting my battery and causing it to jump from 100% to nothing like that. I have had AVG installed on my computer protecting me from day one, and when they looked at the AVG on my computer it was somehow not active it said, so my guess is that is is some sort of virus. I am wondering if anyone eles has had this issue and if AVG will take care of the issue since I had AVG and I was supposed to be protected.
