My OS is Windows XP (don't laugh!). I am running AVG FREE Antivirus Ver. 17.4.3014. When I go to Menu/About/ it shows Software version 17.4.3014 (Last update on Jan 18, 1970 Virus definitions version: 170528-0. I do not understand about the last software version being Jan 18, 1970. Please explain.
Also, I do not like the new (more complicated) look of AVG Free Antivirus. Too many bells and whistles. Why can't software designers just keep things simple?

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. This is a mistake in the User interface and have already been notified to our developers. They are working on it and will be updated soon.
