Microsoft Solitaire Windows 10

Hello Balasubramanian, Sorry if I was not clear. If start or restart my PC and then click on the Microsoft Solitaire Collection it opens OK and runs absolutely fine. If I close it and try to open open it agan later nothing at all happens. This started to happen only after yesteday's upgrade to AVG version 17.5.3022 but I suppose it could be just a monumental coincidence. I guess the obvious answer is not to close it but just minimise the window! I depend on my PC for work but I far from expert on matters like internet security and am very very wary of doing anything that could jeopardise my protection or access to the web.

Hello Peter,

Sorry, it was not clear on the statement "Windows Solitaire runs only once after you start PC"
Please be specific on the statement which will help us to understand the issue.
Please try disabling AVG Internet Security temporarily by following the steps as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode to check whether the issue with Solitaire gets resolved.

Since the AVG upgrade to version 17.5.3022  I find that Windows Solitaire runs only once after I start my PC. If I log out from it and then try to run it again nothing happens. It was working fine before the upgrade. Any ideas how to fix? I did set Network Profiles to Private from Public as suggested elsewhere, but it did not help. Small problem I know but annoying nonetheless.

Thank you for the clarification and do not apologize for this matter.
You can easily follow the steps and disable AVG Internet Security and it you can enable protection again by getting into the same window.
It is necessary to check whether AVG is causing this issue, hence disabling it will give us a confirmation.
