Hello Chris,
Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
I understand that you are unable to connect Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with your Laptop.
I am really sorry to know this. I'll certainly check and help you out.

Please refer the below article to allow Multicast traffic: | AVG (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=avg-antivirus-enhanced-firewall-basic-rules&q=basic+rules&supportType=home)
Allowing Multicast traffic option authorizes applications and services to stream media to multiple recipients in a single transmission, which is necessary for activities such as video conferencing.
Please do try it and let us know, if it works for you.
Thank you and keep us updated.

Hello, I have a (MWDA) microsoft wireless display adapter connected to my TV.  I cannot connect my laptop to the adapter.  I am able to connect to other devices and can connect other devices to the MWDA.  I have followed all tips that i could find and still have had no luck.  the following thread is one of the few things i could find on the subject but it is from 2019 and did not help.
