Hi Gordon.
The MSVCP140.dll is a constituent file of the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. This whole package of data is responsible for the run-time components that are required to run C++ applications (for example the game you are running) built using Visual Studio 2015.
I am afraid this is a Windows OS related issue and AVG tools does not have a fix. However, you can try one of the below methods to fix this issue. If the issue persists, please contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
1. Windows updates are extremely important for a smooth operation of the device. Make sure you have latest windows updates installed, restart your PC and check if the issue is resolved.
2. If updating Windows does not help, please run System File Checker to fix the corrupt system files.
(a) Type in cmd or Command Prompt into the search box.
(b) Right-click on the search result and select Run as administrator.
(c) Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
3. If the Systen File Checker cannot fix the issue, please Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++.
(a) Type in Control Panel into the taskbar's search box and press Enter.
(b) Go to Programs > Uninstall a program
(c) Pick the Redistributable you want to remove, right-click on it and select Uninstall.
(d) You can download and install the appropriate file from official Microsoft web page.
(e) Restart your machine and see if the MSVCP140.dll error still persists.

Your program in the environment of Shadow Defender does not work, does not save also entering in "exceptions" the AWG parks. Question; could you specify PRECISELY that it is necessary to bring out of protection of Shadow Defender? The spoiled dll msvcp140.dll, vcruntime140.dll

I had to do a reinstall of Windows after my computer got a virus that disabled access to net even on ethernet cable. Now I have error message when I try installing software for a game. Error message "Missing file MSVCP140.dll." I cannot find site to get this file downloaded from. Every site wants you to install and PAY for their full version of thier software and they say will fix missing file, it but no gurantees. Being most always been successful with AVG, I got the extras in AVG, I run averything and updated lots and still nothing. Grr.
Is AVG not setup or capable of fixing/installing this file? If not does anyone know where I can get proper file and install myself?
