Mobile Hotspot on my pc

Hi.

I've added a wireless connection to my and created a hotspot so i can connect my Oculus Quest 2 via direct link.  This all works fine as long as the AVG Firewall is disabled.  With it enabled, the Oculus cant see the Internet.  Having searched the forum i cant find how to add my Oculus as a 'friend' or to give it the approval with the current 2021 version of the software.
Ideas or links please?

Please refer to this article & change the network profile of your AVG Enhanced Firewall from 'Public' to 'Private'.
Also, follow the below steps & enable the AVG Enhanced Firewall system rules:
Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Full Protection > Enhanced Firewall > System rules > Enable the following system rules:

  • Allow Windows File and Printer sharing
  • Allow remote desktop connections to this computer

After performing the above actions, restart your computer once & check if the issue persists.
