Money taken from my account

Hi Susan,

We understand your concern.

Upon checking your account, we could see that you had been charged £88.99 for the AVG Internet Security on Dec 8, 2019.

We can assure you that we have not processed any unauthorized payments from your card or account.

Information about your subscription, including instructions on how to unsubscribe from future renewals, are included in all order confirmation emails. We also send a notice by email before the charge takes place (except for monthly subscriptions). When your subscription is extended, we send an additional order confirmation email. This also contained information on how to unsubscribe.

Can we proceed with the refund?

At 3:49 this morning I had an email warning that my subscription is due to expire in 15 days time then at 7:25 you automatically renewed it and took £88.89 from my account.   I did not authorise you to do this and request that it is refunded with immediate effect. I have not had chance to consider if I want to renew or if the current package is suitable for me.  I understand that maybe auto renew is set on my account but it is unacceptable to withdraw money before the due date.

Susan,
Thank you for confirming your refund request.
On checking our records, we see that the renewal notice was sent to you on November 8, 2019.The e-mail might end up in spam folders.
We initiated a refund in the amount of GBP 88.99 and sent you an e-mail informing the same. If the e-mail is not found in your inbox, do check your spam/junk folders as well .

I can assure you I was not sent a notice before the charge took place.

I received an email  dated 23rd Nov warning me my antivirus would expire in 30 days then at 03:49 on 8th Dec warning me it would expire in 15 days then the final email a few hours later confirming payment had been taken - I deem this to be unauthorized.

Yes please refund £88.99.
