Moving or disorganizing win10 desktop icons

Hello Milorad,

We have checked this from our end and do not see any changes happening to the icon.

I have sent you an email to collect error logs from your computer. Please collect the logs after you get this issue, so we can check if this is caused by AVG or other settings on your computer and assist you further.

Hello Milorad,
Please be informed that this doesn't seems to be issue related to AVG Free Antivirus. Please right click on your desktop and select view->and check the 'Auto arrange icons'. Then the issue will not persist even when you reboot the PC.
Thank you.

Thank you for responding.
maybe I didn't mention this earlier… But my desktop icons are custom arranged as per my liking.

Therefore, I have tried your auto arrange answer in the past.
This was one of the false remedies I found in the windows10 posts.
I have just checked-marked auto-range again…
and again it has disorganized or moved my desktop icons, unbelievable!

Wrong answer from AVG tech to Milorad – my computers have been doing the same thing every time the AVG update requires a computer restart.  This has been occurring for the last 4 months.  I have used AVG free for about 8 years.  Very annoying & very unprofessional action and tech support answer.

If this basic problem cannot be addressed and corrected, how can anyone be interested in purchasing ‘advanced’ products?

I have queried the Windows10 postings as per desktop icons moving/disorganizing independently.
All the Windows10 Desktop Icon and other settings meet the requirements, meaning that each time
I boot up or start up my laptop I should expect my desktop icons to be organized. Note that the problem
occurs only when I'm online at home after an update from AVG free. I suspect an AVG operation I'm
unaware of is check marked or… not?
Please Help
