Could you share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of that warning message you have received? Let us know the name and version of AVG product you have installed, is that paid or free version?

Sam, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I have multiple MS Office 2007 files that AVG warns cannot be opened.  (The file could not be opened!)  They are all DLLs.  Should I be concerned that AVG cannot scan these files?

Each is an instance of these 2 files in 9 different locations:
AppvIsvStream32.dll
AppvIsvStream64.dll
