Thanks
I've been using AVG AntiVirus Free version for a few years. Up until now, I've been very satisfied. Like many people, I keep certain files on a thumb drive, for ease of printability.
Prior to the AVG 2015 update, these files were previously loaded on a thumb drive,so I could take it to my local shipping office to print.
I've added some other files to my thumb drive, since the 2015 AVG update, but now when I try to print the files, that were added to my thumb drive prior to 2015 update at my local shipping office, they read " file corrupted." I have no problem opening these same files from my computer.
With the updated 2015 version of AVG, there is now a document shredder which replaced my 'Delete File' option on my computer… The AVG document shredder cannot delete files from a thumb drive. And now, I have no way of printing, or deleting those files, or any other for that matter, off my thumb drive!
I'm not certain uninstalling and reinstalling AVG will fix this problem. I've looked, to see if there's a way to disable the documents shredder, but no luck. I've been happy with the AVG protection over the years, but… this might just be a deal breaker. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
