Hi Christine,
I afraid I do not have any good news. Their tech support people kept at me to run system checks (theirs, Microsoft's, etc.) and each and every time it came up clean. I passed on to them all the results of file compares I did based on forum suggestions and other test I ran and they either ignored them or told me to run another system check. At no time was I able to find anything even remotely wrong with my system files. All file compares with other sources came back clean, ie identical to all suggested copies. I was completely at a loss to understand what could have been wrong with any of the msx… files on my system.
In response to the months of "support" (ie run a system check or let us have full and unfettered access to your machine), they merely told me I was going to get a refund. I was never asked for any follow up information about my system nor the problem. Always Tier 1 responses for a problem with their reporting interface.
BTW, I never asked for a refund. I actually like the program and was hoping (beyond hope maybe?) that I would get better than the cookie cutter responses I was given.
Good Luck to you and if you can get farther than I did, please let me know.
Richard
PS I hope they read this. Maybe someone in their tech department will pay attention.
Hi Richard,
Do you have MSXML3.dll file in “Windows\SysWOW64” and "Windows\System32" folders?
Thanks
Richard,

Beleave me I understand why!!! Abnd do help help fixing this.

Christine
I fixed that!
All you need to do is delete msxml3.dll file from system32 and replace with the file from the link: Dropbox - Error - Simplify your life that one for system32 and see if its work.If not delete msxml3.dll file from syswow64 still with tune up shreder and copy the file from the link obviously the file from syswow64 folder and see if it works.
If dont try to ask support from microsoft official site! Because it may be a problem with Msxml3.dll file not with AVG PC TuneUp software.
Ask for support and see if can help you.
When attempting to access the details from PC Tune Up, I am receiving an error reading:
"Sorry, an error occured when loading the Windows library msxml3.dll."
Prior to, and in response to multiple customer support requests, I ran SFC.exe (System File Checker) with no errors or corrupt/missing files indicated. I also accessed Microsofts automated FixIt program in response to multiple requests from AVG support with no problems found.
Has anyone else had this problem? Short of turning control of my machine over to AVG, support seems to have no answer over the last 6+ weeks.
BTW, I am running a Windows 7, 64-bit laptop using AVG's Zen program.
