My AVG does not secure the Hook Virus.. Says it does and when I rerun a scan it shows up the same nine

A person on Dec. 12 posted the same problem.  Is there not an update for this ?  I thought it was secured but popped up again.  Does the software alert me to this malware when I go to a "bad" site?
