My Brother printer has not been working for a few months. I think the last driver update is bad

Hello David.
Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
AVG Driver Updater stores a backup of each driver before updating it to the latest driver version. To revert back to a previous driver version for troubleshooting purposes:
1. Open AVG Driver Updater and click See Overview (or See Outdated).
2. Click Show details next to the driver you want to restore to a previous version.
3. Click Driver versions.
4. Click Restore next to the driver version you want to restore.
5. Click Restore to confirm.
The selected driver reverts back to the version you selected.
Note: AVG Driver Updater can only restore driver versions that were previously installed by Driver Updater. You cannot restore a driver version that was installed by your operating system or other third-party software.
Thank you.

I have the AVG driver updater and it seems to have given me a problem driver. What can I do about it? I am using Wi-Fi and I am sure that my info. is being received by the printer.
