My browser has been hijacked by " Findamo" or "Damo" as it shows up when I type anything into the Google search bar. How do I get rid of it?

Hi Paul,

I'd recommend following these steps:

  1. Uninstall any suspicious - toolbar/search related programs (start with those named Findamo/Damo).
  2. Remove all suspicious - toolbar/search related browser extensions/add-ons.
  3. If the issue still persists then reset your browser settings.

Paul, For removal info have you 'googled' Findamo?..
No AV product is capable of providing you with 100% protection although AVG are always working 24/7.
