Please follow the instructions to change the Firewall settings to check the status : Open AVG Zen -> Internet Security -> Click on Menu in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> Change the networks from Public to Private (If it is in Private, change it to Public)

I was able to access my WDC MyCloud regularly until a recent upgrade to AVG 17.3 Now I can not access the device. I have put in exceptions to the Firewall and it still won't work. If I turn OFF the firewall, then I can access the WDC MyCloud - so we have isolated the problem to the Firewall. The AVG "chat" folks helped me with the exception for the WDC programs, but still no luck. What do I need to do with this version of AVG to allow access??? Thank you, Laura
Unfortunately this did not work either. And we know it is the Firewall - I can access MyCloud from my iPad, or from my desktop when the Firewall is disabled so there must be some setting we can update to make it work. thank you for any additional help you can provide.

Open AVG->Open Internet Security->Go to menu->settings->Components->select customize option in firewall->Please select 'Allow' in default rules.

Thank you for this suggestion, I had previously tried this and it did not work. I have also tried not allowing the network profile switching and this did not work either.
