Hello Richard. Sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. I would request you to follow the below mentioned instructions:

1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

Dear all…help,
My e-mail protection is not active, the rest of AVG protection seems fine.  A recepient of an email of mine thought I might have a virus as my email was repeatidly sent to his in box to the point that his inbox filled and his email failed.  I've tried running the scan function and to use the re-installing advice from the FAQs.  Still no joy.

  1. Second step is to use AVG BFE Fix tool. To download AVG BFE Fix Tool please click on the following link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_BFEfix.exe .
    5) Run the downloaded file, click Accept to confirm the license agreement, and then click Continue. Your computer will be automatically restarted.
    6) Run the AVG installation again. To download, install and activate AVG Internet Security program please follow the instructions mentioned in the following article: http://bit.ly/1DXPL5z .
