Initially, we need to check whether the installation was successful.
To do so : Go to control panel - Programs - Programs & Features - Check if AVG is listed & let us know to help you accordingly.

yes it is listed in program feature. What else should I do

After paying my subscription, the downloading began, but it got interrupted and hang. I had to shut down the computer and restart. How do I reactivate the downloading again.
