Actually, the issue is that the user's device is too old to upgrade - Late 2006 models aren't allowed to be upgraded past 10.7 - to a higher OS so the answer provided here is inadequate. A more practical response would be appreciated.

Is there an older version of AVG? I bought AVG only to find out it only works with 10.8 O.S.
