I've gotten no response with an answer and the same ierror is occuring every time PC TuneUp asks to update my laptop!

It never gives me an error message until after I finally cancel the process. It just says the update could not complete. I removed the program and reinstalled it, but the same thing happens. Is there a fix?

Is this update 14.0.1001.423? I have the same problem with this update and, like you, nothing has fixed it. I have Windows 7. The update fails in step 3 during the third green bar that reaches about 2/3rds of the way.
Have you found any other solution?
