Any update on this? I have a WDMyCloud storage device which we use as shared storage in our small office. All of our computers have AVG andalso need to be able to access the network storage.
I have already made adjustments to the AVG settings (network profile set to private, allow all Friends connections, all local router addresses added to Friends list, cybercapture set to "ask" instead of auto), and this is working on some of the computers but not all. How can I make sure these connections will be allowed without disabling the firewall completely?

After the latest AVG update and change to "Stick Character: Icons my Outlook Email client in Office 365 2016 was blocked. Tech support resolved that last night. Today My Network Attached Storage, WD EX2 and WD EX4 were being blocked by the AVG firewall. WD Smartware Pro is the application. AVG support entered rules to allow the IP addresses of the drives to be accessed but according to the logs they are still being blocked. What is going on?
I contacted Tech Support aga8in today for the second time on the firewall blocking NAS issue. The 2nd Tech has escelated the issue to the developers.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, We suggest you to change the firewall network profile from "Public" to "Private" and check if that fix the issue. To change this settings, please open the AVG Internet Security and click on Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Network profile.

I am having the same problem accessing my Western Digital MyBook. When I turn off the firewall, it works just fine. This issue just happened today when I reloaded AVG.
