Hello,

I'm trying to install a program called Blogstomp on my computer.  I have had an older version of this on my computer before but just recently upgraded.  Blogstomp is a program that allows you to upload images and collage them together in a prescribed folder (mine is on my desktop).  I have reached out to Blogstomp and they told me to contact AVG saying that Reach out to AVG and explain that BlogStomp needs to be able to create new JPG files on your computer, but AVG is blocking this process and ask them to advise.

I've been asked to whitelist or allow a filepath in AVG also.  How can I do that?

Any advice is appreciated please!

Appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue, Lilian.
It seems that the image that is being attempted to be stomped is protected by Ransomware shield.
You can specify how Ransomware Protection behaves when an application attempts to access files in your protected folders.
Please ensure that the Ransomware protection is set to smart mode.
If so, check whether BlogStamp is being blocked from accessing files by following the steps in this article & remove it (if blocked).

Hello Lillian.
We would be glad to help.
Are you using a free version of AVG? Does AVG detect the Blogstomp app as a threat when you try to use it?
Or if you receive any error message, please share the exact message. If there is no threat detection pop up or error message, disable each component in AVG and verify the issue to narrow down which component is causing the issue.

I think this is what you are looking for, yes?  I am using the free version.

Thank you so much for your response.  I really appreciate that.

There is no error from AVG.  The error comes when I try to 'stomp' the images into a collage. Hope that makes sense.  I'm trying to click over to the link you sent above but it's not working. Is it the correct url?

Here's the error I get within blogstomp:

Lillian, thank you for sharing the screenshot.
Please let us know the version of the AVG AntiVirus FREE/AVG Internet Security on your PC. To check that, Open the AVG AntiVirus FREE/AVG Internet Security > Settings > About.
Also, please let us know whether you're using a free version of AVG or AVG Internet Security on your PC.

I'm having another issue and not sure how to do this.  Here are the instructions sent to me.  How can I do this, please?

"Here is the location of the app in case you need to whitelist
C:\Program Files (x86)\BlogStomp3\BlogStomp.exe"

Can you help me with that too please?
