Hello Mary. I would request you to first uninstall the old AVG program from your computer and restart your PC once. Please follow the below instructions to download AVG Free Antivirus 2015.
1) If your operating system is 32 bit then use this link http://files-download.avg.com/inst/av/avg_free_x86_all_2015_ltst_222.exe to download AVG Free Antivirus 2015.
2) If your operating system is 64 bit then use this link http://files-download.avg.com/inst/av/avg_free_x64_all_2015_ltst_221.exe to download AVG Free Antivirus 2015.

Please help! I keep trying to install the upgrade for AVG Free 2015, but not succeeding. Keep getting a message saying 'Connection Failed…this application requires Internet connectivity…if you are using proxy server, please specify the settings below.' Below that, I have to type in my Server and Port…I've never had to do that before, and I don't even know where in my computer I'd find that info. Then, there's an option to use proxy authentication…I have NO IDEA what that is. I've updated AVG several times before this year, and I've never had to go through this before! Please, someone help me!
