Need to access Sim Card to use on new Mobile Phone

I have purchased a new Mobile Phone and when I removed the SIM card to use in my new Mobile, the AVG app blocked usage. I should have disabled Mcfee  protection from the old phone first and now cannot use the old in my old phone or install into my new phone. Can anyone help me to resolve this please.

We had asked you to specify if AVG is the one blocking you from using the sim card on your new mobile or is it being blocked by McAfee?
Note: AVG & McAfee are entrely different companies.
