I have a home network with 4 computers named, Omen, Envy, Backup, and Desktop
Omen , Envy and Backup can all see and connect to each other
Desktop can see and connect to Omen and Envy
Desktop can see but not connect to Backup - get message that problem may be firewall and "Default gateway is not available"
Desktop, Omen and Envy are running AVG Secure VPN, Backup is not
Neither Backup, Omen nor Envy can see and connect to Desktop - got an AVG popup saying "Incoming Connection blocked. We safely blocked an attempt to connect to your computer using file and printer sharing"
All of my AVG settings are the same on all 4 computers.other than the Firewall Rules. The Firewall Rules on Desktop do not show the same options as on Omen. All firewall rules on Desktop are for Public and show blocked. Firewall rules for Omen have substantially more options and
many options are Allowed. Can anyone help me with this?
Today, initially the three laptop computers that couldn't see the desktop yesterday could see and connect to the desktop today. However, after 2 hours the Desktop disappeared from the list of computers displayed in File Explorer/ Network.
I do not know if this is an AVG problem or a Microsoft problem.
HOWEVER, the three laptops can only see and connect to each other if AVG Secure VPN is turned off. When on, VPN was set to allow these connections. I do not know how to fix this problem.
