If you suspect that AVG is blocking the printer, then we'd suggest you to disable AVG protection temporarily & check.

It will open the support article which contains detailed instructions on how to disable AVG protection or individual components temporarily.

I managed to get AVG stopped once but can't find out how to do it again. It is my printer problem. None of the AVG steps to stop it temporaily are in my menu's. How do I stop it for a short time?

Has anyone experienced problems printing after recent updates.
