From your description, it seems that an older version of AVG AntiTrack is installed on your computer. 
Please let us know the version of AVG AntiTrack that is installed on your computer.  To check this : Go to control panel - Programs - Programs & features - Locate version listed beside AVG AntiTrack.

I've installed the new avg antitrack product but am unable to open it.   An error message as listed below comes up.    
                 "Avg antitrack needs to restart. Please press OK then reopen AVG antitrack after close"
I've tried that but nothing happens. I've pressed the letters ok both in capitals and small letters.
I uninstalled the old Avg antitrack and installed the new should I not have done that?
