I notice at startup after I installed the latest update for Windows 10 there is a black screen that
comes up first with 14 lines starting with "Watch Dog initialization, then "leading config, etc."
and ending with the last 2 lines of "starting external subsystems" and ending with "finished".
I've never seen this black screen before and want to know if I have a virus or is this a new
procedure for the AVG startup?

We are sorry to hear that you got the watchdog black screen error. This issue is caused by outdated Logitech drivers and is unconnected with our software.
Removing the USB Wireless device and restarting should allow access to Windows. Once logged in it is necessary to update or remove the Logitech software.
Please remove all the USB devices connected to your computer and check if that fix the issue.
