Updated the firmware on computer and AVG will not update.
Sorry about spelling on previous question.

Thank you for the information.

Please change to public DNS on your computer and check if you are able to update AVG.

Change DNS server address to public DNS in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1

  (1) Right click on network icon in the taskbar and click "Open Network and Sharing Center"

  (2) Click "Change adapter settings"

  (3) Select the active/ connected network adapter and right click and select "Properties"

  (4) Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click properties and then select "Use the following DNS server address". (By default "obtain DNS server address automatically" is selected).  When you select "Use the following DNS server address", you can use the DNS address you want. Popular public DNS addresses is google DNS (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4).

After changing the DNS settings, check if you are able to update AVG without any error.

No error message. I have AVG Internet Security paid version.
When I click on the update link it tries to download but then drops out.
