Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
We're glad to clarify this for you.
Windows 10 & 11 in S mode version of Windows 10 & 11, which allows run only apps from the Microsoft Store. Hence, we'll not be able to install AVG on S mode. An user can switch out of S mode to install AVG program. 
However, switching out of S mode is an irreversible action.

Windows 11 in S Mode is preventing me downloading my AVG programmes.  Had assistance but cannot delete the S Mode
