Newly purchased activation key doesn't work

All done, today I logged in [exactly today the old license has expired] and chosen the new license from the drop down menu option. It works.
Thank you.

Hello,

On AVG Internet Security App [I believe ZEN for Win10] I had [and still have] a message "Your Internet Security Expires in 4 days". After clicking "Renew Now" I have chosen 1 Year protection and proceeded to payment. After all payments were done I have receive a letter of confirmation with, however, when I tried to activate the new license key, the app showed an Error " Sorry, something went wrong".

Important Note: while renewing the license, before the payment details page, I used a different email when it asked me the info. Possibly it has created a different AVG account?

Question: I have now 2 [two] AVG accounts.
1. Why that new code doesn't work?
2. How to activate the new code  on my PC by being logged in using my other AVG account?
3. Is it possible to merge accounts, so it, perhaps, can solve the problem?

P.S:
It doesn't work when I go ZEN>MY AVG>Subscriptions>Enter a Valid Code and typing a new code.
It also doesn't work when I go ZEN>MY AVG>Subscriptions>Log in into your AVG account using a new email [the one that I used while renewing the license]; no new subscriptions are visible. However, when I log in to subscriptions_avg_com using the new email, there I can see one year subscription.

Thank you,
Alec
