We're here to help.
This behavior is observed when you have a conflicting antivirus software installed on your PC.
It is generally not recommended to use more than one security solution on a single system. They will compete for resources, which may result in slowdowns, crashes or in no protection at all.
Please uninstall any conflicting software and incompletely installed AVG as well from control panel. Restart your PC and reinstall AVG AntiVirus.

I just installed AVG on win 10 and it never seems to finish the install, I get no desk top icon either. I uninstalled it once and down loaded a new copy with no success. I got the AVG clear tool and ran it and reinstalled it again with no success. Any help would be appreciated.
